A mouse is seen piggy-back (or in this case froggy-back) riding on a frog to survive a flooding in the Indian city of Lucknow. Good luck to both of those guys.

The black sun phenomenon occurs half an hour before sunset. Millions of birds flock together and form the strange shapes seen above. There are sometimes enough birds in the sky that they end up blocking out the sun, hence the term “Black Sun Phenomenon”

Do you know why there are many horny old men around? The nice old polite gentlemen die early because of their habits. Take this guy as an example: Huang Chunyi has been collecting and staring and pictures of women all his life. Every night he spends hours cutting out images and pasting them into his scrapbooks. Huang Chunyi is now 94 years old and still cutting and pasting images of beautiful into his scrapbooks.

The huge stack of paper behind him are his scrap books O_O. His favorites include Chiling Lin, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz.
So start clipping photos and staring at girls. Doctors orders. Tell the girls that it’s only for health reasons.

This Terra Arm Chair is great! I want to get my hands on one of these (as soon as I get a lawn.. )
Just place it out side on your lawn and fill it with soil and in a few weeks mother nature will provide you with your very own lawn chair. Just make sure that there aren’t any ant hills near by.

Lyrebirds are among Australia’s best-known native birds, even though they are rarely seen in their natural habitat. As well as their extraordinary mimicking ability, lyrebirds are notable because of the striking beauty of the male bird’s huge tail when it is fanned out in display; and also because of their courtship display.
This is an amazing video that shows a Lyrebird from up close:

Most humans are born with the ability to hear frequencies from about 20 Hz (low) up to 20,000 Hz (high) but that range shrinks as we get older. A guy in England figured that meant kids can hear things adults can’t - specifically, very high frequencies. He created a device that pulses an annoying tone at about 15,000 Hz with the idea that when the device is used, it will repel kids while being unnoticed by adult.
Another use for this isn’t as unfriendly to children. Some cellphone ring tones have a frequency that only children can hear and this allows them to use cell phone in class while older teachers remain oblivious to what is going on.
So what frequencies can you listen to?

I, personally, can hear all of them :O, A word of warning. Don’t turn your speakers up too loud because this may be very uncomfortable. I found out the hard way

ALLERCA has produced the world’s first scientifically-proven hypoallergenic cats. These cats allow some of the millions of people with feline allergies to finally enjoy the love and companionship of a household pet without suffering from allergic symptoms.
This post is going into both Nature and Technology Categories
For $4000 each, you too can have a genetically modified cat that causes no Allergic Reactions in humans. Maybe they’ll do dogs next. They are required to be neutered or spayed. I guess the company doesn’t want someone else breeding hypoallergenic cats.

Jack, a 15 pound cat, takes his job of defending his property very seriously. Until now, he did a great job of scaring away small rodents, birds and other animals but he probably needed a challenge. Last week, the perfect challenge showed it self in the shape of a black bear!
Jack was victorious and here is the picture to prove it:

Yeah.. That’s a huge black bear driven up a tree by Jack (bottom).
After about 15 minutes peering down at the cat from the tree, the bear descended and tried to run away, only to have Jack chase it up another tree.
At this point, Dickey, who feared for her cat, called Jack home and the bear scurried back to the woods.
“He doesn’t want anybody in his yard,” Dickey said.
