The Transformers Teaser site is up. There is not much to see except a huge eye (probably of Optimus Prime?)
Arrrgh. Still over a year left.
I’m slightly concerned because Michael Bay is directing this movie and we all know that he has been nominated for multiple Golden Raspberry Awards. Meh… even if he does manage to mess this movie up then we’ll always have the 1986 animated version (Mah weep grana weep nini bong).

Wired.com has posted a way of watching the Soccer World Cup 2006 Live in your computer.
“Download a P2P streaming player from the forum Football Streaming Info, which is stuffed full of links to downloads and tips if you get into technical trouble. TvAnts is a front-runner due to its ease of use — a big plus is that the channel menu is mostly in English, unlike many of the other players which seem to be in Chinese.
Once you have a player installed, a clear and detailed schedule of the day’s games and where to view them can be found at BoxtoBox.”

Gargles.net finally got dugg after about two weeks of existence and it was an interesting experience. I had just woken up and I noticed that all my sites were having problems such as error code 500 or mySQL errors. I was about to send my host an email when I noticed that I had about 500 simultaneous users on the site.
I, obviously, panicked since that was the most reasonable course of action (not!). Unfortunately, WP-Cache plugin wasn’t helping much and the server load was getting intense. I was afraid that my web host was going to suspend my account.
Fortunately, I had the idea of just going to the page that was dugg and copying the source and pasting it into a static HTML page. Since I had permalinks activated I just created a subfolder/subdirectory with the same name as the permalink and placed an index.html file in it. I pasted the source of the actual dugg page and almost instantly the server load came down.
My site graph after being dugg:

The adsense click through rate was terrible. Diggers are usually Internet savvy individuals who only are interested in the content of your site. They are great at getting you back links though. I’ve noticed that I’ve been linked from a large number of sites and I bet that will help my page rank.
Lessons that I learned:
1) Try to keep a cool head during a digging;
2) Create a static page with the content to get your server load down (WP-Cache should have done that but I don’t know what happened);
3) Try to throughly edit your content for errors and mistakes or else the visitors will do it for you (and it’s not pretty.. plus you owe it to them).
I look forward to many more future diggs and dots and farks

Happy Weekend!
Criss Angel is a very famous illusionist, magician, and musician who, in my opinion, is one of the best magicians ever. Criss has won the Merlin Award from the International Society of Magicians in 2001, 2004 and 2005. He is the only person to win that award twice and thrice. He was named the Magician of the Year in 2005. Here are a couple of his amazing videos from YouTube:
Lots of people explain this video as just a feat of extreme strength. Critics say that he is strong enough to use his abs to keep him self from falling down. emm… sure..
Alright.. then I guess this girl has really strong abs as well?
Also, remember the four inch high levitation that David Blaine is famous for? Look at this one:
Here is another levitation video.
Yeah.. I don’t know…

NOTE: There was an error in this listing. It has been corrected! I apologize. It was an accidental typo! I have double checked this list and there should be no errors. I used a script to sort out the names and it made a mistake because of same last names. They have been corrected now.
If you do find an error please let me know! Thank you.

The largest telephone and cable companies such as AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, and Time Warner want to be able to decide which websites run fast, slow or not at all. They want to be able to charge extra money for fast service and if web sites don’t pay extra then they’ll be doomed to a slow connection.
Net Neutrality wants to ensure that all sites get equal treatment.
The supporters of Net Neutrality include leading high-tech companies such as Amazon.com, Earthlink, EBay, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Skype, Vonage and Yahoo. Prominent national figures such as Internet pioneer Vint Cerf, Stanford law professor Lawrence Lessig and FCC Commissioner Michael Copps have called for stronger Net Neutrality protections.
For More Information check out the Net Neutrality FAQ

A strange man grabbed for Teresa’s purse…they struggled. The man eventually got the purse and took off.
What followed had Teresa doing a double-take–In a flash, someone was giving chase to the robber.
“He had on a white tunic, a beige leotard, and tights and boots,” Teresa explained. The man was also wearing a cape.
“I thought, ‘wow, who’s that?’”
It was the Super Pizza Man from Galactic Pizza. Super Pizza Man then beat up the criminal and retrieved the purse for Teresa.
If you haven’t guessed yet… Galactic Pizza Parlor makes their delivery persons wear super hero costumes. It seems that they are also in the super hero business now.

Peter Feldstein took a picture of every last person in Oxford, Iowa over twenty years ago. Now he has done it again and the results have been published in the “Oxford Project” This is both very interesting and very depressing at the same time.
