Arbiter, you said he was a friend of the church? Interesting. What do you mean by that? In what way? Is this a common view of many Roman Catholic church goers?

You know what, Lericia? You're right. That is very true. I imagine it was never an actual fruit at all. It must have had a symbolic meaning. Some type of sin they entered into? It's hard to believe Satan coaxed her to a tree with an apple on it. lol I imagine there's much more to it, also. Well, we''ll find out later, won't we? :)

Of course this is not the only statue dedicated to Satan. Our old catholic countries (I'm French myself) are full of Satan statues. As Satan has always been a friend of the Church, you can find statues of him in any French cathedral. This is one of my favourite statue of Satan, exposed in Notre-Dame de Liège : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/70/Lucifer_Liege_Luc_Viatour.jpg

really makes you think. i mean you see, when you know where to look, there are only pictures and paintings of Satan, never Lucifer.
from how i was raised, religiously, Satan was hot. i mean he was really beautiful. i was told that God made the Angels all beautiful since they were his messengers. why he did it?... well it would be weird if he had ugly ones.
but Lucifer's looks didn't change when he did.his heart and his intentions maybe, but how else could he have tempted Eve if he were ugly?

one more thing! it wasn't an apple. thats just a symble. it was sex. it makes sense when you think about it. i mean what can be more important to God then the gift of giving life?! it seams below God to put a random fruit tree in the garden and say "do not eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil" just like that. i think there'd have to be more to it.

P.S. they never ONCE said apple in that part of the Bible!

...i like the statue

Could this mean that the anti-christ (perhaps Juan Carlos) will come from Spain? Astonishing! I never knew about this statue!
