Tallest Man in the World
Mongolia’s Bao Xishun is no longer the world’s tallest man. His title has been replaced by Leonid Stadnyk who stands tall at 8ft 5 inches. That makes him 8 inches taller than Bao Xishun. He may be taller han Bao Xishun but has he saved any choking dolphins lately?
Leonid Stadnyk did not come forward earlier because he hates his height and doesn’t even look in the mirror. He believes that his height is “God’s biggest punishment for me”. Despite persistent attempts by the Guinness Book of Records to officially measure him over the last three years, Stadnyk had always refused until he met London growth expert, Professor Michael Besser.

I’m moderately tall (6′8″) and even at that I can understand his mental outlook. When you are pulled outside the norm -too tall or too short- there are always those who will torment you. Best wishes to Leonid Stadnyk.
Wow. I think he’s got it wrong. What woman wouldn’t want him? “Eyebrow arched.” I would. . .love a tall man to look up to. He’s handsome, and oh so wonderfully tall. Leonid Stadnyk, you’re a great guy. It is not a punishment. It is a gift.
I have just seen a show on Leonid and was very moved by his story and saddened as well.
I was wondering if anyone knows how to contact Leonid through mail if so i would be very great full in writing him and letting him know he’s got a friend here in Canada. I really hope that someone can help in in reaching him!
I hope Leonid is healthy and doesnt have to many problems with his back and legs. Being that tall puts an extremely large amount of stress on your spine, knees, and heart. Moving around when your that big can be very very exhausting. The best thing I think Leonid should do to avoid these problems is to excercise frequently, and work out to help strengthen his circulatory system and help his muscles get used to moving his weight.
